In order to able to observe in a scientific way, one needs to be abstracted as well as possible from the observedThis not only applies to Western science but also to Eastern. It does however seem to be impossible to be fully abstracted from the observed: the western scientific observer isn't fully abstracted from the observed either by his apparent motionlessness. So the question is: "can the abstraction be improved by some other means than the western projection-hypothesis?" In this chapter I hope to be able to answer this question.
