Very ancient Chinese theory evidently ultra modern
Traditional Chinese sciences, including acupuncture, are all based on an underlying theory, which has been handed down indirectly and in fragments. In my hopefully soon to be published book, I try to reconstruct and explain this underlying theory and to place it into a context. In addition, I describe the similarities and differences with Western scientific models and theories, such as Einstein's Theories of Relativity and the modern quantum theories.
In anticipation of the publication of my book, I'm sharing its quintessence with the audience through this website, about a tenth of the total manuscript. In this part I will show that the old theory is based on deductive and other scientific methods. Furthermore, I describe the differences between the 'Eastern way of scientific observation' and the Western one. And although in my manuscript I have named the eastern way of observation 'subjective', it appears to be as objective and scientific as its western counterpart.
The ancient eastern theory appears to be a cosmic quantum theory. It apparently suggests the existence of an abstract founding layer on which the universe is built. And since the western quantum theories are also based on such a layer, I will describe how the eastern layer relates to modern insights from Western physics. Particular attention is paid to the recent theories of Erik Verlinde.
Note that I do not publish this wihtout reason. More about that on the Introduction page.
